Day 332

Just got Photoshop CS6 Extended for my PC, so I am currently trying to manage my workflow and get everything up to date. I didn’t have time to recreate my watermark or make a new one, so this will have to do. In other news, 5.1 earthquake near UCLA, 30 seconds worth. And back at home we came across a California Kingsnake.

Non venomous, but apparently can still bite. They make great pets. Don't be alarmed by the shaking their tales make.

Day 331

More tinkering with laptops. This time, my brother’s Dell XPS laptop was acting up. I had to clean up a lot of gunk and dust, and apply some thermal paste to the CPU and GPU for better temperatures on the processors. Dell’s automated process applied waaayyyy too much paste, which apparently is a common issue with their product line. Everything seems to be working well. Now all we have to do is see whether the thermal paste reapplication helped.

Day 326

I got home today and will be spending Spring Break here. The recent rains have brought the greens back to the hills, so it is a nice difference compared to some of the charred, ashen ground where the fire burned a few months ago. I plan on using my free time to finally migrate the photo library consisting of many thousands of photos from my laptop to my desktop.

Day 322

I’m not sure why, but I have been posting quite a few flower photos lately. It’s probably the feeling of Spring coming that is manifesting itself in my photography. Tomorrow is my last final of Winter Quarter. I will have a little over a week’s break to rest, relax, and recharge. Since my project is coming to a close, I cannot wait to get Spring underway and see what emerges in the next few weeksDay 322.
